Roy C. Murphy is a City Councilman seeking re-election on April 3, 1945. He previously served as a councilman from 1935-1937. Mr. Murphy was born in Sevier County, Tennessee. He moved to Fort Worth, Texas, in 1912 and got his start as an elevator operator at the county courthouse. He is shown standing against a wall, dressed in a three-piece suit.
