Shown here is Martha Ann McDaniel. She is standing against a bare wall while smiling and posing for the camera. She is wearing a striped frock. Martha was elected the sweetheart of Saginaw in a penny-a-vote election and box supper held at Saginaw, Texas, for the Red Cross benefit. The proceeds is going to the community's 1945 Red Cross War Fund. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. B. McDaniel. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, March 18, 1945.
