Cox Junior (Jr.), left to right, sitting Cheryl Ann Cox and Elizabeth Sue Headland. Sitting in Herring's lap are the youngest members of the quintet, Harry B. Burr III and Leslie Ward Mendenhall III. Leslie in crying. Mr. Herring is wearing a dark suit and sitting in an armchair. Edwin is wearing a sailor suit. Behind Mr. Herring is a framed photo of a man in a naval uniform.
