    Chief Yeoman W. J. Manchester, 27, is pictured here. He is shown standing against a bare wall, dressed in Navy uniform, facing front and smiling for the camera. He is visiting relatives after spending more than 20 moths in the South Pacific fighting at an advanced base in the Solomons. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Manchester. Yeoman Manchester and his wife, the former Mary Nell Elliott, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O. L. Elliott are visiting his and her parents. He is a graduate of Paschal High School. He expects to return overseas after March 20. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, March 14, 1945.
