Dave Miller Junior (Jr.), Quartermaster Second Class is pictured here. He is shown standing against a bare wall, facing front and smiling for the camera. He is dressed in Navy uniform. After 2o months in the Pacific, he is now on 30-day leave with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dave Miller. Quartermaster Miller was a member of the Amon Carter Riverside High School football team, and was a freshman at Baylor University when he entered the Navy in 1942. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, March 8, 1945.
