Description

"Sunday at the Beach" is a gouache painting by Coreen M. Spellman, of Denton, Texas. The painting won third prize in the Fort Worth Art Association's current show of West Texas art. Miss Spellman was awarded a $25 prize from the West Texas Chamber of Commerce. The painting depicts a woman lounging on the beach, listening to the radio and reading a newspaper. The painting is on display in the gallery of the Fort Worth Public Library.
