Description
Miss Kathleen Latham is exiting the Criminal District Courtroom with her attorney, Bill McLean, after being freed of an insanity charge Thursday, February 22, 1945. A jury declared Miss Latham sane and she was released from Wichita Falls State Hospital. She was committed two years ago when she plead to an insanity defense in the murder of J. B. Disney on May 11, 1943. Miss Latham is dressed in a collared blouse, pinstripe, blazer, and a matching skirt. Mr. McLean is dressed in a hat and a suit with a sweater underneath. His trench coat is slung over his arm and he's carrying a package.
