Description

The new quarters of the Sea Scout Ship Vampyre are being dedicated Wednesday. The ceremony is being held at the Missouri Avenue Methodist Church. Pictured left to right are Miss La Verne Calaway, Claud Mike, and Mrs. John Lang. Miss Calaway is being named sweetheart of Sea Scout Ship Vampyre. She is wearing a blouse and a long plaid skirt. Mr. Mike is presenting a seven-foot model schooner to the scout group. He is dressed in a suit. Mrs. Lang is the wife of the skipper. She is wearing a hat, frilly blouse, blazer, and a skirt. She is presenting a bouquet to the ship's sweetheart.
