Description

The National American Legion Oratorical Contest is being held at the Chamber of Commerce. The contest is sponsored by the Blackstone Post of Fort Worth, Texas. The contestants, left to right, are Cecil Sherman, James Stevenson, Thomas Condon, Pat Roach, Jean Griffin and Sarah Jean Smith. Miss Griffin, of Paschal High School, won first place in the Tarrant County section.
