Description
Captain William B. Douglas is a Flying Fortress pilot in the Army Air Force. He is on leave in Fort Worth, Texas visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Douglas. Captain Douglas is based with the 8th Air Force in England. He wears the Air Medal with three clusters, the Distinguished Flying Cross, and the Presidential Unit Citation. He enlisted in 1940 after graduating from Texas Christian University and received his wings in Douglas, Arizona. He is shown standing against a wall, dressed in his military uniform.
