Stars of the Fort Worth softball team won three games in the Texas AFF championship tournament at Austin. Playing under the banner of the Trimble shortstop, Billie Pulliam (left) and second base woman Doxie Washington is a smooth, fast working mid-diamond combination. the Trimble team was the first to enter the district A&A tournament.Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition July 22, 1940.
