Description
Two-year old Jo Ann Worden is smiling as she sits on her father, Bill Worden's lap. Jo Ann is shown not long after falling out of a third story window at the Victory Apartments. She landed unhurt, but very frightened on a paved driveway. Jo Ann was staying with family friend Mrs. W. H. Vinson when the accident happened. The young girl leaned on a window screen, which she had previously opened. Mrs. Vinson rushed Jo Ann to Harris Memorial Methodist Hospital for X-Rays. The toddler was miraculously given a clean bill of health. Mr. Worden, a Convair employee, was already at the hospital visiting his sick wife when Jo Ann was admitted. Mr. Worden is wearing a dress shirt, necktie, pinstripe vest and trousers. Jo Ann is wearing a polka-dot dress.
