Description
The Golden Gloves State Tournament is being held in Fort Worth, Texas at the Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum. Squaring off in the ring, left to right are flyweights Arturo Elizarde and Buddy Baggett. Elizarde is a 112-pounder from Harlingen, Texas. Baggett is a 109-pound fighter representing Dallas, Texas. Baggett is shown covering-up as his opponent, Elizarde, closes-in for a big right blow in the second round. Baggett went on to win the match with a third-round technical knockout. He will advance to Saturday night's quarterfinals.
