Description

Billie Eddie Fitch, a fourteen-day-old infant, wrapped in a blanket, is shown sleeping in the arm's of his mother, Mrs. Billie Fitch. They are taking a photograph for the baby's father Private First Class (Pfc.) Billie Fitch, who is stationed in the Netherlands East Indies. Mrs. Fitch is the former Miss Helen Marie Newman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O. H. Newman. Mrs. Fitch is laying in bed, dressed in a nightgown. A photograph of her husband is on the nightstand. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, February 25, 1945.
