Technician Sergeant Otis E. Adams, center, who escaped from Japanese prison camp, with his brothers, Wirt Adams, left, and C. E. Adams, and a sister, Mrs. Charles Rhea. In the photograph, the brothers are seated beside one another on a step while their sister kneels behind them with her hands on the shoulder of the brothers seated at each end. Mrs. Rhea is wearing a dress with ruffles on the neck and buttons going down the center. She is smiling at the camera. Mr. Writ Adams on the left is wearing a long sleeve shirt and pants with a belt. He has one hand on his laps and he is looking at Sgt. Adams and smiling as Sgt Adams looks sideways at him. Mr. C. E. Adams is wearing a long sleeve shirt and pants with a watch on his wrist. He has one hand on his leg and the other hand on Sgt. Adams' shoulder. He looks to the side and also smiles. In the background, there is an unidentified man dressed in a suit, tie and vest standing in front of the house with his hands behind his back. There are other unidentified people that are looking outside through a screen door. They are seated in front of the front door and there is a railing to the left of the photo.
