Description
Private (Pvt.) James A. Boyle, of Joshua, Texas, was among the 513 prisoners liberated from a Japanese camp in Luzon. He and the other prisoners were rescued by the United States Army Rangers. It was the headline news on the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. Private (Pvt.) Boyle is the son of Mr. and Mrs. T. F. Boyle. He is shown in his official military photograph, dressed in his military uniform. This is a copy of a framed portrait photograph. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, February 2, 1945.
