Description

Mrs. Archie H. Moore, the former Veta Lowrie, is posing for the camera with her two-month old son, Archie Lee. Her husband Archie H. Moore is an aviation machinist's mate, second class in the United States Navy. He has been serving overseas in the South Pacific since August 1944. Mrs. Moore is wearing a button-up dress and holding the baby. Archie Lee is dressed in a sweater, shorts, and booties. They are living with the sailor's mother, Mrs. Hugh C. Moore. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, February 4, 1945.
