Boxers throughout the city are training for the upcoming Golden Gloves District Tournament in Fort Worth, Texas. Training in the gymnasium, left to right, are Private Anthony Centorani, Corporal Willie Mee, Private M. F. Koerper, Sergeant George Morad, Private Bernard Seilhamer, Corporal D. T. Cianelli, Master Sergeant J. W. Jones, Sergeant J. U. Steiner, and Coach Private First Class M. J. Abreu. The ten men are soldiers in the United States Marine Corps. They are stationed at Eagle Mountain Lake. The fighters are wearing boxing trunks and some have their hands taped. Coach Abreu is dressed in a sweatshirt with the letter "M" and trousers.
