The Mid-Continent Oil and Gas Association is holding their annual meeting of the executive committee of the standing committee on local and state taxation in Fort Worth, Texas. The tax experts attending the meeting, left to right, are Dan Harley, John Hammermann Junior (Jr.), Frank N. Shriver, A. J. Wells, and A. D. Nelson. Mr. Harley is with the Ohio Oil Company in Fort Worth, Texas. He is dressed in a three-piece suit. Mr. Hammermann is with the Gulf Oil Corporation, in Houston, Texas. He is dressed in a suit and a pocket square. Mr. Shriver, Shell Oil Company Incorporated (Inc.), Houston, Texas, is the elected general chairman. He is wearing a double breasted suit. Mr. Wells is with the Carter Oil Company, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He is dressed in a dark, double breasted suit. Mr. Nelson is with the Magnolia Petroleum Company in Dallas, Texas. He is wearing a light-colored, double breasted suit. All except Mr. Hammermann, are wearing eyeglasses. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, January 21, 1945.
