Description
This is a copy of a framed picture of a Ranch house. The original '96 Ranch' was headquarters in Mitchell County. It was the former home of Mrs. J. D. Wulfgen of Colorado City, Texas. The house has wood siding. On the front porches there is a hammock bed. All of the houses' windows are open to allow a cool breeze throughout. A saddled horse is standing in the front yard. Behind the house are windmill, wooden fence, trees and outbuildings. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, February 6, 1945.
