    Passengers line up to board one of the first Bowen Trailway buses leaving Fort Worth, Texas after a two-day drivers' strike. The passengers are, left to right, Mrs. Gladys Tice, Mr. and Mrs. Fred L. Godwin, and Johnny Simpson. The driver, far right, W. A. Chappelear, takes their tickets. Mrs. Tice is wearing a coat and headscarf and is holding a purse. Mr. Godwin is wearing a coat, trousers and a hat. Mrs. Godwin is wearing a coat, gloves and a hat. Mr. Simpson is wearing a coat and trousers and Mr. Chappelear is wearing a suit and hat. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, morning edition, January 18, 1945.
