Mrs. D. C. Burton Junior and children, Gary Cliford Burton, 3 , left, and Gerald Wayne Burton, 1 , right, sitting on a couch. Gary Cliford is sitting on the armrest. The children are wearing matching collared shirts and Mrs. Burton is wearing a dress and earrings. Behind the couch is a lamp and a window with the blinds closed and curtains pulled apart. The family returned to their home in Fort Stockton, Texas after visiting Mrs. Burton's parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Harris, and her sister, Mrs. C. O. Tomerlin. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, morning edition, January 21, 1945.
