Executives of American Manufacturing Company of Texas did the serving and dishwashing when employees of the shell producing plant were served a barbecue venison dinner. W. G. Gourley, president, is shown serving, left to right, V.A. Gernsterkrom, Inez Hamilton and Emma Badaus, who are sitting at a table. Twenty five deer were killed for the barbecue at the ranch of Mr. Gourley near Junction. Mr. Gourley is wearing a suit and is holding a platter of food. Picture taken with hats of other guests in the foreground. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, January 11, 1945.
