Description

A junior high school, senior high school and college graduate who were honored at a recent tea given at the home of Mrs. H. G. Parr. They are, left to right: Charlotte Zihlman, Texas Christian University (TCU); Martha Sue Parr, Daggett Junior High School; and Blanche Zihlman, Arlington Heights High School. The girls are standing outside in front of a brick building, holding hands. Charlotte is wearing a floor-length dress with short puff sleeves and a ribbon wrapped around the waist and a floral hair decoration. She was awarded a scholarship at TCU to attend Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts. Miss Parr is wearing a floor-length dress with short puff sleeves and a vertical row of bows down the bodice, and she is wearing a ribbon in her hair and a corsage on her left wrist. She will enter Paschal High School in the fall. Blanche is wearing a floor-length plaid print dress with a ribbon wrapped around the waist and a bolero jacket with puff sleeves.
