    Description

    John Paul Hoppe, Fort Worth, Texas, with his bride, the former Dorothy A. Stewart, of Detroit, Michigan. Both are in the United States Navy and hold the ratings of aviation metalsmiths (AMS), third and second class. John is a sculptor and Dorothy is also an artist. He attended the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts where he will continue his studies after the war. They are stationed in Corpus Christi where they met about a year ago and were married Dec. 23. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Hoppe, formerly of Fort Worth visited from Chicago, staying in the home of Mrs. Hoppe's parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. R. Jones. The couple is standing, smiling, wearing their military uniforms. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, January 11, 1945.
