Description
A formal inquest is being held in the death of Mrs. Eleanor Schmid, of Abilene, Texas. She died from a bullet hole in her temple while visiting friends, Doctor and Mrs. F. M. Brennan, in Chino, California. Mrs. Schmid, twenty-three, was the wife of Army Captain Carl Schmid, currently serving with the U. S. Army in Belgium. Mrs. Schmid, right, is pictured here. She was a former student of Texas State College for Women at Denton and McMurry College at Abilene. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, January 6, 1945.
