Description
Mrs. Lou Johnson is one of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram's most satisfied readers. She read and re-read the story headlined "Navy Fliers, Shot Down in Philippines, Reach Safety." Her Navy pilot husband, Lieutenant S. R. Johnson, was missing in action since November 13. He was among those mentioned in the story who returned safely to Leyte. Mrs. Johnson is sitting at a desk with the newspaper. She is wearing a blouse with a matching skirt. There is a picture of Lieutenant Johnson and a clock on the desk.
