Description
Lieutenant Colonel (Lt. Col.) John D. Landers is a military decorated fighter pilot in the United States Army Air Forces. He was awarded six medals in one day in the Pacific and added another twelve in England. He is home in Joshua, Texas to spend Christmas with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. O. R. Landers. Lieutenant Colonel (Lt. Col.) Landers, twenty-four, is shown wearing some of the ribbons pinned to his military uniform. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, December 20, 1944.
