Description
Star-Telegram Quiz Contest on the United States Constitution. Almost 3,000 senior high school students registered for the contest. Velma Neece, 17, senior at Amon Carter River-Side High School, was working at her Christmas job behind the glass-ware counter at a downtown store, when a reporter told her that she had won the fifth grand prize of $50 in cash. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, December 18, 1944.
