Description
Captain Tom A. Crockett Junior is the pilot of a Flying Fortress based in England. He has been awarded a Distinguished Flying Cross (DFC) with one cluster and the Air Medal with four clusters. Captain Crockett completed 30 combat missions without serious injury to his plane or crew. He was also the pilot on the first American bombing attack on Berlin, Germany, for which he received the DFC. Captain Crockett is pictured in an aviator hat with goggles, a scarf, and a leather pilot's jacket.
