Description
Norris L. Watson, second class seaman, with the United States Navy, describes dive of a Japanese Suicide bomber. Watson is a native of Dallas and is married to the former Miss Martha Lee Martindale. He is shown standing against a bare wall, facing front, slightly angled to right and smiling for the camera. He is wearing a navy uniform top and plaid trousers. In a recent battle in the Southwest Pacific, Watson was a member of the "ground crew" on an escort carrier. Seaman Watson, formerly a salesman for the Superior Wholesale Market, has been in the Navy almost a year. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, December 4, 1944.
