Description

Officers of the Cher-Amis Club, an organization of girls who will be seniors at Polytechnic High School next year, all friends since kindergarten. The officers are, seated, left to right, Misses Mary Helen Handerson, president, Joy Moore, past president, and Frieda Lawing past secretary; standing, left to right, are Misses Eloise Kellner, vice president, Nada Greene, past vice president, and June Miller, secretary. The group will have a picnic at Mrs. Baird's Farm near Arlington, Texas, and will hold an installation ceremony at Miss Moore's home. The girls are pictured outdoors, gathered around a well. Miss Lawing is wearing a floral print dress and Miss Kellner is wearing a polka-dot dress; the other officers are wearing blouses and skirts.
