Soldiers from the 529th Field Artillery Battalion from North Camp Hood, participants in the Sixth War Loan Drive parade. They set up a bivouac field quarters late Sunday afternoon at Will Rogers memorial Coliseum grounds. Private First Class Chester Glucroft prepares to turn in after unrolling his bedding in the livestock barns. He is sitting on the ground untying his shoe. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, November 20, 1944.
