Texas Christian University Football. John Weldon Cooke, a 17-year old freshman from Dallas, is a starting left tackle for (TCU). He played two years for Woodrow Wilson High School. In training gear and uniform, he holds the football in this half length photo, in the field. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, November 16, 1944.
