Captain and Mrs. Claude E. Manning, Junior and little daughter, Mary. The photograph is a family portrait with the captain holding his daughter in his left arm and his wife standing to his left in front of a bare wall. Mary is holding onto her father's right thumb. The captain is wearing a service army uniform: four pocket coat, collard shirt with tie and a hat. There are two metals on each lapel. He is also wearing a pinkie ring on his right hand. Mary is wearing a short-sleeve dress, ankle high ruffled socks and ankle high laced shoes. Mrs. Manning is wearing a button down coat with a belt and a hat. There is a mink fur pelt (scarf) draped over her left shoulder.
