Football Texas Tech and Texas Christian University action shots: Fullback Norman Cox of Texas Christian University (TCU) plows through the center of the Texas Tech line for the Frogs' first touchdown in the initial period of Saturday's game at TCU Stadium. Cox went over from the one-yard line after ground plays and aerials had moved the ball into scoring position on the Tech 5, Norman also chalked up TCU's second counter in the third period to give the Frogs a 14-0 victory over the Red Raiders. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, November 12, 1944.
