Second Lieutenant Merle Sellers of Rising Star, Texas spent 10 months in New Guinea hospitals. She is visiting her brother, Wayne C. Sellers at 3818 Washburn Avenue, Fort Worth, Texas. Lieutenant Sellers is a dietitian attached to the Medical Corps of the United States Army. Lieutenant Sellers was stationed at Fort Bliss before going overseas. In this picture, she is sitting in a chair, wearing her uniform. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, November 11, 1944.
