James Carpenter, wounded paratrooper, what the folks back home are doing to help. Wounded veteran Carpenter is on crutches and wearing military uniform. Mrs. Edwards is the wife of Private First Class (Pfc.) James Edwards who is fighting in Belgium. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, November 9, 1944.
