Description
George McFarland Butcher, left pacifist-minded former Yale student of philosophy, received the advice of United States Commissioner Bob Milam to "learn to cuss and chew tobacco -- and spit red." Mr. Milam is pointing at Mr. Butcher. Both men are sitting at a desk with papers on it. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, November 9, 1944.
