Description
Underpass on E. 9th Street is pictured here. This underpass is city's newest grade separation which takes vehicular traffic beneath the Santa Fe railway trackage on E. 9th Street. The photograph was taken from E 8th, which feeds into the structure from the west. Two men are walking on the sidewalk and a train is on the railroad track. A sign for the Fort Worth Poultry & Egg Company is on a building in the distance. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, November 9, 1944.
