    Clipping: "Mrs. J. E. Brown, seventy-four-year-old voter in Tuesday's presidential election casts her fourth ballot in twelve years for Franklin D. Roosevelt. Mrs. Brown has lived here with her son E. Y. Brown, at 3526 Waits for the last five years. She is a former resident of Mineral Wells and Plainview, Texas." Published Star-Telegram Evening Edition, Nov. 7, 1945. Mrs. Brown is sitting at a table casting her ballot. She is wearing a white blouse with pearl buttons and a tie bow of the same fabric, a felt hat and a a dark coat with elaborately shaped stitched shoulders. She has her handbag tucked under her left arm and has a large metal broach on her coat. She is wearing eyeglasses and holding a pencil to a large ballot form.
