Most worthy grand matron of the General Grand Chapter, Order of Eastern Star (OES) Mrs. Mamie Lander of Orlando, Florida, is shown standing against a bare wall with an unidentified woman. She is wearing a dress with a lace overlay. There is a pin on the front. The other woman is wearing a white flower in her hair. She has a small pin on her dress. Mrs. Lander described her adopted project of raising and administering a fund for the rehabilitation of war-stricken children when she spoke to Grand Chapter of Texas representatives Wednesday night in the First Baptist Auditorium.
