Shown is Mrs. T. G. Rainy. A woman is standing in front of a bare wall. She is wearing a black dress with a white lace collar, a black hat and a pair of glasses. Mrs. Rainy will open a new cafeteria ot the first floor level of the First Knights of Pythias Temple when the remodeling work of the building is done. Mrs. Rainy and her late husband opened the first cafeteria in Fort Worth and Texas in 1919 for Pangburn's, in the 1000 block of Houston. She still adheres to the rule that she will serve no drinks stronger than milk, tea or coffee. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, October 29, 1944.
