Description

Fort Worth native, navigator and Second Lieutenant Philip Martin Scott, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Scott, received his navigator wings and was visiting before reporting to his new station. Scott, 20, former student of Waxahachie High School and North Texas Agricultural College, reported for combat training with a crew at Lemoore Field, California. He received his wings at San Marcos Army Air Forces. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, November 26, 1944.
