Lieutenant J. S. McMinn, P-47 Thunderbolt pilot. McMinn is a former alumni of North Side High and Texas Christian University (T.C.U.). He appears to be wearing his combat jacket the winged silver boot of the "Late Arrivals Club," composed of pilots who "walked back." In the background there are two desks with a lot of stuff such as books, maps, and papers on top .
