Mrs. Alfred Taylor, left, state director of education and organization for the Democratic Party, and Mrs. Eula Bates, president of the Tarrant County Democratic Woman's Club, at the club's luncheon at Hotel Texas. Both women are sitting in front of the dinner table wearing dresses and hats. Mrs. Taylor is wearing a corsage. The table they are sitting in front of has cut fruit, pies, crackers and a variety of tableware. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, October 20, 1944.
