Football North Side-Masonic Home action. Going down after a three-yard gain in the second quarter of Thursday night's game at Farrington Field is North Side's Dewey Jacobs, who sparked the Steers to a 32-6 victory over Masonic Home. Jacob was stopped by tackle Don Opperman (17) of the Masons. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, October 20, 1944.
