Toby Goldsmith, Poly backfield star, picks up nine yards in the second quarter of Friday night's game at Farrington Field to advance the ball to Tech's 36. Making the tackle is halfback Bobby Roberts, who snared the ball carrier by the leg. The Parrots won, 26-0. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, October 14, 1944.
