Description

Fort Worth Junior League play scene. In a modern version of "Little Red Riding hood" and the players are, Mrs. Jack Gaither, left; Mrs. C. Reynold Weaver, center; and Mrs. E. A. Bosl, Junior (Jr.), right. Mrs. Gaither is playing as huntsman, holding an axe and smoking a pipe. Mrs. Weaver is playing the mother. She is leaning out of a window wearing a lace cap and a lace collar. The woman next to her is wearing a hooded cape and holding a basket of flowers is Mrs. Bosl, Jr. who is the heroine in this play. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, October 29, 1944.
