Description
Sam Myers, still has a nostalgic feeling for Fort Worth- the city which was so nervous with "growing pains" in 1890 that it couldn't stand the screeching, whining noise of the machinery in his father's planning mill, so they sold out and moved to San Antonio. His father came to Fort Worth in 1875, while the railroad still was being built toward Fort Worth, meanwhile he had to stay with his mother in Dallas until they officially moved in 1876. In the picture Mr. and Mrs. Sam Myers of San Antonio, they appear to be sitting on a love seat, there is a hallway in the background and further back there are some windows. Mr. Myers appears to be wearing a black suit and Mrs. Myers appears to be wearing a black skirt suit with a white blouse.
